On the morning of October 10, Jiuquan Cloud Computing (Big Data) Center project started in the West Park of Jiuquan National Economic and Technological Development Zone. The Jiuquan Cloud Computing (Big Data) Center project was officially launched in 2018, and a project cooperation and co-build implementation agreement was signed with the Longchamp Group. As agreed by the municipal government, the project is led by the Jiuquan Industry and Information Technology Commission, and the city-owned Jiuquan Green Energy Cloud Computing Limited Liability Company is responsible for the construction. The project covers a total area of 100 mu, with a total investment of about 826 million yuan, and can meet the demand for 5,000 cabinets. The first phase of the project is equipped with 1,100 standard cabinets, which can undertake public cloud, private cloud, cloud disaster recovery, government cloud and other services. After the completion of the project, in addition to meeting the needs of Jiuquan's local government cloud and cloud services, it can also undertake the data storage, backup and cloud computing business of the surrounding areas and domestic large and medium-sized enterprises, and will become a powerful supplement and important support for the Silk Road Information Port.

It is understood that Jiuquan cloud computing (big data) center planning in accordance with the national standard A-class server room, multi-operator access, multiple security protection, dual power supply and other industry high standards, design and construction of domestic first-class, high-tech, low-cost, green energy-saving medium and large data center (park), through the active introduction of domestic outstanding cloud computing, big data enterprises led by the Wave Group, gather and attract the city, the province, the country Even the Silk Road countries along the various types of big data, cloud services, Internet entrepreneurship and innovation enterprises, and actively build the Silk Road cloud computing, big data corridor and Silk Road Information Port important nodes, to become an important domestic and regional cloud computing, big data application innovation demonstration base.
