At 15:18 on December 9, 2021, with the successful grid connection of 88# wind turbines of H7# project, all 200 wind turbines of NIT's Jiangsu Rudong 800MW offshore wind power project (H4# and H7#) were connected to the grid for power generation, which marked that the offshore wind power project cluster with the largest single capacity, the largest number of turbines, the farthest offshore distance and the longest 220KV sea cable route among the domestic offshore wind power projects under construction had achieved full capacity and put into operation, and fully completed the set target of "electricity price protection" within the year.
Jiangsu Rudong 800MW offshore wind power project (H4#, H7#) is invested and built by NIT Rudong He Feng Offshore Wind Power Co. Rudong H4# and H7# projects are both 400MW in installed capacity, with 100 wind turbines of 4MW individual capacity respectively. After the completion of the project, 200 wind turbines will be competing for the wind in the Yellow Sea, the "Gemini" offshore booster stations will echo each other, and the "twin" onshore centralized control center will reflect each other. The project is expected to generate about 2.5 billion kWh of electricity annually, which can save nearly 800,000 tons of standard coal and reduce more than 1.9 million tons of pollutant emissions compared with the same level of coal power, which is of great significance to the implementation of the national "3060" target, promoting the green development of the Group and accelerating the construction of a world class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness.
During the construction period, the project was affected by "bad weather", "offshore wind power rush" and repeated epidemics. During the construction process, the project has completed the installation of the single module 3,900-ton offshore booster station "twin blocks" within 48 hours, the installation of steel pipe piles "five in one day", the installation of steel pipe piles, and the installation of the main unit. "Five piles in one day", 29 piles sunk in a single month, wind turbines "six cranes in one day", 49 cranes in a single month, 85 35KV submarine cable laying in a single month and many other new domestic offshore wind power construction records, for the project's full capacity to put into operation, completely win The project has provided a strong guarantee for the full capacity of the project to be put into operation and win the battle of "electricity price protection".
The full-capacity commissioning of Rudong 800MW offshore wind power project (H4# and H7#) marks the full-capacity commissioning of the three tariff-protecting projects approved by the company at the end of 2018 (a total of 1100MW), following the full-capacity commissioning of the NIDEC Binhai South H3# project (300MW) at the end of 2020, within the established time frame, completing the "tariff-protecting "The company's "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" offshore wind power construction is a perfect conclusion! By now, the installed capacity of all offshore wind power projects has reached 1600MW, which is another step towards the goal of "2030".
