Recently, the 2000-ton self-lifting and self-sailing integrated offshore wind power installation platform "Baihetan" of Three Gorges Group was docked, marking that the construction of the whole vessel "Baihetan" has entered the stage of final assembly and loading from segment construction.
"Baihetan" is the first 2000-ton offshore wind power installation platform designed and built in China, with a total length of 126 meters, a width of 50 meters and a depth of 10 meters. With advanced design and strong power, the platform can be used for offshore wind turbine installation of 10 MW and above, which can meet the future needs of deep-sea, large-capacity and integrated construction operations, and is the first offshore wind power installation platform designed by Three Gorges Material Tender Company to focus on the national "double carbon goal" and implement Three Gorges Group's "offshore wind power leader" strategy. It is a "big national weapon" for offshore wind power construction, focusing on the national "double carbon goal" and implementing the "offshore wind power leader" strategy of Three Gorges Group.

The construction of the offshore wind power installation platform "Baihetan" was officially started on July 30, 2021, with a short construction period and high technical difficulty. In February this year, with the joint efforts of all the participating units, the whole vessel of "Baihetan" reached the requirements of continuous loading in terms of segment reserve, total group of segments and outfitting integrity, and was successfully docked, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of key construction path equipment into the cabin, cable laying, crane and pile legs of pile boots.
In the next step, Three Gorges Material Tender Company will pay close attention to the construction progress and quality, organize and plan the ship commissioning program carefully, implement process control, and make every effort to build the benchmark equipment for offshore wind power construction and help Three Gorges Group lead the innovative development of offshore wind power.
