It is reported that the project has a total installed capacity of 301.2 MW, with 74 turbines installed. Since the first turbines were connected to the grid, a total of 137 million kWh of clean electricity has been generated. The previous record holder was Putuo No. 6 offshore wind power, with a total installed capacity of 252 megawatts.
Jiaxing No. 1 offshore wind power is the first offshore wind power project developed and built by ZNG independently, which is a key project of ZNG to accelerate the green and low-carbon transformation of energy and an important initiative to achieve the strategic mission of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality". The project started offshore piling on October 7, 2019, and the first batch of turbines will be connected to the grid on February 10, 2021, with all 74 turbines completed on October 29.
After the project is put into operation, it is expected to provide 870 million kWh of clean electricity per year, which is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 360,000 households, save 282,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 576,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, with significant energy-saving and emission reduction effects.
